If you know me, you know how much I love music and how much it means to me. I’m almost always listening to something and always wearing my headphones.
July was a big month for me: painful, beautiful, romantic, transformative, sad, joyous…these are the songs that I listened to, sang to, cried to, prayed and worshipped to, fell in and out of love to…this is the music that carried me through the month.
There’s a mix of everything- my influences are vast- from classic R&B like Stevie Wonder, Anita Baker, and Luther Vandross, to newer artists like Doja Cat, Janelle Monáe, to indie music artists like Therese Curatolo and Dan Napper.
And it wouldn’t be a Brittany Brown month or playlist without a little Michael Jackson!
