Remember the days of Myspace and the music players on people’s pages? Way back then, a friend of mine had this song playing on his Myspace page called, “Fast As You Can” and I would often visit his page just to re-listen to the song. Eventually, I decided to check out more of Fiona Apple’s music, and fell in love.

Lyrics are always a big part of my musical enjoyment, and Apple writes some of the best I’ve ever heard. Songs about heartache, rejection, disillusionment – yeah, her stuff can be a bit depressing, but I’m a sad girl™ a lot of times, so it just works. I’ve loved the majority of her albums, and am always waiting to hear more from her.
